Dedham 12's and the Dedham 10's Playing the Finals Tonight

Tonight both the Dedham 12's and the Dedham 10's will be playing in the finals at the Rustcraft complex, Rustcraft Road on Capone Field.

"We work hard to remove as much pressure as we can from the boys," Coach Andy Shumway said. "But they are smart enough to know that this is a big game."

The Dedham 10's will play Mansfield at 5:30 p.m. And then the Dedham 12's will face Mansfield in the final for the 2nd year in a row at 8 p.m.  There is no cost to attend either game.

Coach Shumway says that there is a lot of excitement about both games tonight, but feels that each player is well prepared.

"The boys have worked so hard and sacrificed a lot of time to create such a wonderful team and family," Shumway said. "This is our second year in a row facing Mansfield.  It will be a great challenge for both teams, but that is what true sport is all about."

Last year three teams from Dedham won their District and represented Dedham in
the State tournament.  Shumway says that the team wouldn't have gone this far without the support that was given.

"The tournament has been going on all week and we have had amazing support
from the town and families.  A huge thank you is owed to all of the hard work," Shumway said.
