Hometown: Staten Island, NY
Birthday: March 28
Bio: I was born and raised in Staten Island, NY but anyone will be surprised to learn that I have always been a hard-core Bruins fan. So I was very excited to get my Masters in Broadcast Journalism at Emerson College and witness the big Stanely Cup win!
I have over six years of experience working in radio, newspapers, and television stations in New York and Massachusetts. But I am very excited to now call Dedham my home!
You can stop by any of the local coffee shops in the area if you want to say hi or share any story ideas with me!
At Patch, we promise always to report the facts as objectively as possible and otherwise adhere to the principles of good journalism. However, we also acknowledge that true impartiality is impossible because human beings have beliefs. So in the spirit of simple honesty, our policy is to encourage our editors to reveal their beliefs to the extent they feel comfortable. This disclosure is not a license for us to inject our beliefs into stories or to dictate coverage according to them. In fact, the intent is the opposite: we hope that the knowledge that our beliefs are on the record will cause us to be ever mindful to write, report and edit in a fair, balanced way. And if you ever see evidence that we failed in this mission, please let us know.
Politics: I am a registered Republican with a Democratic lining.
Religion: I'm a Unificationist who also loves to explore other religions.
Local Hot-Button Issues:
This may not be a hot-button issue- but it should be... There has been a significant increase of prescription drug abuse in Dedham. And it's very important that every man, woman, and child recieve the education that's needed to help bring awareness to the issue, and then hopefully a solution.
