Ursuline Academy Athletes Earn 2012 MIAA Sportsmanship Award

Ursuline Academy athletes are the recipients of the 2012 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Sportsmanship Award for District H.

This honor is awarded each year in recognition of high standards of ethics and integrity in interscholastic athletics and leadership by example.

"This is the first time that Ursuline has received this award, and we are incredibly proud of our athletes," said Athletic Director Mike O'Connor.

The MIAA Sportsmanship Committee presents Sportsmanship Awards annually to one school in each of the eight athletic districts within the MIAA structure. District sportsmanship awards are chosen by the athletic directors from the member schools in each district.

District H encompasses all the Catholic high schools in the Greater Boston area: all-girls, all-boys and coed.
