Maura Sullivan, Neighbor

I am a longtime resident of the South Shore, with a passion for writing and local news stories.

I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2011, with a degree in American Studies, along with minors in journalism and anthropology.

During the summer of 2009, I worked at The Concord Monitor newspaper in Concord, NH, and my interest in feature stories and human interest pieces was born.  My time in Concord also taught me the importance of quality local news coverage.

I have also worked at South Shore Living magazine, Notre Dame Magazine, and the London Bureau of NBC News, the latter while I spent the spring semester of my junior year studying in London.

I'm very familiar with Hingham from my years figure skating at Pilgrim Arena with the Skating Club of Hingham, and my job as a lifeguard at the South Shore Country Club.

I'm excited to be back in Hingham and reporting on what's going on around town.
