UPDATE: Armed Robbery at Blue Hills Bank

Dedham Police are providing more details on the incident.

 

The Dedham Police Department is actively seeking more information about the armed robbery that took place at Blue Hill Bank, 749 Providence Hwy, in Dedham.

According to police, the robbery took place at around 4:15 p.m. on Friday.

According to Mass Most Wanted, the perpetrators are being describes as white or light skinned hispanic males in their mid-30s.

One of the suspects began waving a gun at both the tellers and the bank manager, according to police reports. The second suspect then approached a teller station where after demanding money, "lurched forward over the counter taking same from the teller."

"Current information indicates there is a vehicle involved," police said. "The perpetrators of this crime may have fled the Blue Hills Bank traveling in a southerly direction, traveling to the Washington Street side of the Plaza through the parking/driveway area and entering a vehicle in the area of Keldara. The vehicle then fled the Plaza."
