Dedham Police Log: Medicare Scam, Malicious Damage and More

The following information was provided by the Dedham Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, July 15
(7:46 a.m.) Malicious damage was done to a vehicle that was parked on Bayard Street.  According to reports, it appeared that someone was trying to break into the car by removing the rubber trim around the driver side, but was unsuccessful.  A report was filed.

(3:45 p.m.) The tire of a vehicle that was parked on Whitehall Street was slashed.  A report was filed.

Tuesday, July 16
(3:55 p.m.)  A Fairbanks Road resident was a victim of a Medicare scam.  A report was filed.

Wednesday, July 17
(6:55 a.m.)  Dedham Police received a phone call that a motorcycle was stolen from Denmark Road.  A report was filed.

(11:19 p.m.)  A bicycle was stolen from from the owner's backyard.  A report was filed.
