On Monday, Police received a 911 call around 1 p.m. about a breaking and entering incident on Cedar Street.
"The resident was home at the time and startled the intruder who then fled the scene," Lt. Nedder, Jr. said.

Dedham Police along with State Police K9 Units tried to search the area for the suspect, but had negative results.
The case is still being investigated by police.
