  • Prepares blood components, including but not limited to red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma, platelet concentrates, and recovered plasma.  Prepares products and performs quality control checks on equipment. 
  • Releases frozen plasma for fractionation including but not limited to reviewing of all necessary paperwork, accurately placing labels, and computer verification of labeled products. 
  • Maintains neat records and a clean orderly work area.  Recognizes and reports discrepant conditions to supervisor. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, state and local regulations.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma, GED or equivalent

The MIT Endicott House is a Conference & Special Events Center which has varying levels of business and hours of operation.​ We are looking for Front Desk & Back Office assistance from a person who is highly customer oriented, can think on their feet, multi-task, problem solve, excellent computer skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and follow procedures.​ Shifts could be days, nights and weekends, and are based on business need.​

Duties include:

  • Greeting & directing clients to location of their meeting/​function
  • Checking in & out overnight guests
  • Posting charges to guest accounts, settling credit cards & cash management
  • Concierge functions: local restaurant & attraction recommendations
  • Entering group rooming lists, answering phones, taking reservations & providing information regarding various items such as Theme Weekends, Dinners & Special Events
  • Facilitating requests from clients by contacting other departments & taking ownership of issues follow through until completion or passed on to next shift.​
  • Communicating information throughout the facility
  • Assist various departments with administrative support: document typing, sign creation, spreadsheets, file organization, etc.​
  • Assistance to the Sales Office with prospecting new clients and client interface
