Five Things You Need to Know: Nov. 5, Boy Scouts Gala, Preschool Storytime and More

Today's Weather: Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 45.  For tonight, mostly clear with a low around 25, according to The National Weather Service.

1. The Blue Bunny will host "Preschool Storytime" at 10:30 a.m.  Preschoolers will enjoy this free event with short stories, and a craft activity.

2. There will be a "Salute to Scouting" gala at at 6 p.m.  The event will take place at Boston's Seaport Hotel, and will celebrate the Boy Scouts organization.  Those interested in attending can contact Kathy Finn at 617-615-0004 ext. 312 or kfinn@bsaboston.org. 

3. There will also be a Qigong & Tai Chi class at Paradise Cafe, 565 High St. in Dedham.  Learn both popular and rare exercises that originated from China centuries ago to help loosen your joints, add flexibility, improve your immune system, and help relax your whole body.  The class starts at 8 p.m. and costs $70 for five classes.

4. The Monday Morning-Stars, a ladies candle pin bowling club, will meet at 9:45 a.m.  There are no teams and no weekly commitments, just exercise and fun.  Those interested can just stop by the bowling alley at 16 Chestnut St. in Needham.
