Dedham Square Construction Update, Oct. 8

According to contractors the reconstruction of the sidewalk on the northerly side of High Street, from the Dedham District House to Court Street, will continue this week.  The sidewalk will be closed for up to one week.

Contractors will also start reconstructing this week on the southerly side of High Street, from Eastern Avenue to the Route 1 overpass.  The sidewalk will be closed for up to three weeks and 10 on-street parking spaces will be unavailable during construction.

The reconstruction of the Keystone Parking Lot retaining wall will also continue this week.  According to contractors, 250 feet of sidewalk adjacent to the retaining wall, from Eastern Avenue to the Route 1 bridge overpass will be closed for two to six weeks.

It's important to know that the contractors will make sure to provide entry ways for residential buildings and local businesses during construction.
