Traffic Alerts, Road Closures Issued for James Joyce Ramble

Find out which roads will be affected this Sunday.

The annual James Joyce Ramble road race returns to Dedham this Sunday, April 27, and along with the race will come a handful of road closures that will affect residents and drivers in town.

The runners in the race will begin the 6.2-mile trek at the corner of Boulevard and East streets, traveling north on East Street and then continue along the following route:

  • Left on High Street through Dedham Square
  • Right on Court Street
  • Right on Highland Street
  • Right on Lowder
  • Right on Rte. 109
  • Left at the Noble & Greenough campus
  • Left on Pine Street
  • Straight on Ames Street
  • Left on High Street
  • Right on East Street, back through Dedham Square, and ending at the Endicott Estate

The Dedham Police Department will close those roads as runners approach, and subsequently open them once participants have run through.
