Dedham TV to Host 2014 Candidate Debate in March

The debates will include a CNN-style session and Town Meeting open forum, and will air live on March 27 and 28.

Dedham Television announced Wednesday that it will host two special debates next month for candidates of the 2014 Dedham Town Election. 

The debates will air on Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28 from 8-11 p.m., live-streaming online and also on Dedham Television. 

The March 27 debate will feature candidates of contested races for the Dedham Board of Assessors and the Dedham Board of Health.

The March 28 debate will feature candidates of the Dedham Board of Selectmen race. 

Both debates will be moderated by Steve Straight and John Pucillo, press will be invited to ask each candidate questions int he first 90 minutes; candidates will respond to audience questions in the second 90 minutes of a "Town Meeting" style forum.

Candidates who wish to participate are asked to send an email of acceptance to Dedham TV Executive Director Donna Greer, at dedhamtv@gmail.com by March 15.

Dedham residents are encouraged to attend but are asked to make reservations by emailing dedhamtv@gmail.com with the subject line “Debate Seating”, as seating is limited.
