Police Search For Dedham Bank Robbery Suspect

Police need the public's help in identifying an armed bank robber who escaped the Eastern Bank with cash.

Dedham Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed the Eastern Bank on Providence Highway last Monday.

The suspect entered the bank and passed a note stating he had a gun and demanding money at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Sept. 30, according to the police log.  The suspect escaped with money on foot and no gun was shown.

Police are describing the suspect as a 5 foot 10 inch white male, with gray hair and a gray mustache between the age of 50-60, according to MassMostWanted.com The suspect was wearing jeans, long sleeve dark plaid shirt and a black baseball style hat that may have the word ‘CHAMPIONS’ over a Boston Bruin logo.

His image was captured on the bank’s surveillance camera.
