Aldo Savi: Retired Dedham Sergeant Detective Dies at 83

Aldo E. Savi, 83, of Dedham, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 29. 

Retired Sergeant Detective Dedham Police Dept. Beloved husband of Barbara A. (Donahue) Savi. Loving Father of Margaret E. Savi Carroll and her husband Michael Carroll of Dedham, Donald Savi and his wife Diane of Dedham, Brian Savi and his wife Patricia of Everett, Diane Wigmore and her husband Richard of Norwood, and the late William Savi. Brother of the late Alexandro Savi and Aurora ODonnell. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. 

Past president of Dedham Youth Soccer and US Air Force Veteran 1951-1953. Funeral services will take place at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, Monday at 10 a.m. A funeral mass will take place in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Sunday 2-6 p.m. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
