Three Dedham Stores to Open at 1:00 a.m. on Black Friday

Dedham shoppers can get holiday toys, videogames and clothing sales a little earlier this year.

Old Navy, Game Stop and Babies R Us/Toys R Us will open at the Dedham Mall at 1:00 a.m. on Black Friday, just hours after Thanksgiving dinner. 

Dedham Selectmen approved the early opening at their meeting on Thursday.

A representative from the Mall said employees will arrive at 12 a.m. to get the stores set up and they will open their doors an hour later.

She informed Dedham Selectmen that proper lighting will be available in the parking area and security guards will be on the premises.
