Replycars only have to stop for people in a crosswalk if the crosswalk does not have pedestrian lights. If lights are present the pedestrian has to engage the lights before crossing. Motorists do not have to stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk if there is a working light. The light at Howard is confusing for both the motoring public and also the students and staff at Wheaton. This issue should be addressed.

ReplyIt is always a sad situation when a guy or gal doesn't go home after work. I hope this guy and his partner are ok. OSHA should investergate and hopefuly the rest of the story won't be buried.

The playground was photographed Monday, January 21 just before noon. The day was fair and unseasonably warm. The following day was cold and snowy.
