ReplyIt certainly would be nice if you could parse some of this out for us readers instead of making us read through 22 pages of statistics. What really matters here? How do the numbers compare to other towns or other years? Shouldn't you give us some context?

ReplySo much for innocent until proven guilty. Wow. "On Friday, police arrested Odelio Sepluveda-Guerrerro, at his home in Dorchester, for illegally selling and distributing heroin and cocaine to Dedham residents."

ReplyWhen did we elect Rush to the Senate? Twice he is referenced as Senator, but funny enough, Massachusetts still only has two of them -- like the rest of the country.

On the article Town Votes 'Yes' on Senior Center Site Committee

ReplyThe last study only looked at one site, but, in the last 5 years, how many different sites have been looked at or considered? Dexter, Avery, the Estate itself etc. The COA put a plan together that worked, was paid for, and would improve the look of a town-owned property. The possibilities of programming between seniors and the library would have been endless. It's a mistake to drag this out further and to delay, delay, delay.
But it is proof of priorities of certain selectmen. How many studies and years did it take for the arts center to take hold. One study. One year. The senior center? Countless studies and 30 years.
It's not that the town government moves slow... it just moves slow and drags its feet when it opposes something, but is too chicken to admit it.

If I remember right, the patch started halfway through 2010 - about the time that project was wrapping up.
