A manufacturing problem at Tylenol parent Johnson & Johnson has left many area CVS stores without the popular pain reliever. The CVS on Eastern Avenue was out of Tylenol, though it had plenty of its own brand of Acetaminophen. As of 12 p.m. they only had a few 50 count boxes of the "rapid release" capsules. The CVS stores on Bussey Street and Providence Highway had a limited supply as of Friday afternoon. A CVS spokesman told Reuters that CVS will try to have Tylenol in stores in each market, but will not be able to stock every store.
