The Dedham public schools will be closed Friday because of the storm.
The Dedham Public Schools will be closed on Friday because of the snow and wet weather, which is expected to continued into noon time Friday with temperatures in the 30-35 range, according to WHDH. Dedham Country Day will also be closed. It will be a totally different for the weekend and into Monday. It will be sunny Saturday and Sunday. Saturday, the high will be 46, while they will be 52 Sunday. By Monday, we could be close to 60s.

“The Eligibility Period is a critical step in the MSBA’s process of evaluating potential work on the Dedham Early Childhood Education Center,” stated Executive Director McCarthy.

Dedham Police promote the idea that supporting a bully, or simply standing around and not helping a victim, is not acceptable.
Thanks to the continued efforts of Chief Michael D'Entremont, the Dedham Police Department once again sent School Resource Officer Ron Pucci out to “make the rounds” at the town's four elementary schools. His message to the fourth and fifth grade students around Dedham- bullying is a crime! Armed with an easy to follow four-part video, Officer Pucci visited each school and did an excellent job presenting the facts about teasing, taunting, name calling and harassment. This is Ron Pucci's eleventh year on the force, his fifth year working with the students and teachers in all of our schools. Avery School 5th Graders held a very successful Bottle and Can Drive this past Saturday, Sept. 22. The funds raised by redeeming the bottles and cans go toward sending the 5th Grade class at on a number of enrichment field trips and other activities throughout the school year. Mark your Calendars!! Avery Bottle and Can drives will be held every month for the rest of the school year on the following dates: 2012: October 20th, December 1st, 2013: January 5th, February 9th, March 2nd, April 6th and May 4th. Avery will also be collecting Bottles and Cans at Dedham Day this Sunday for anyone who missed last week's Drive.
