How Can We Make Every Day Earth Day?

Very few events are celebrated around the globe, but Earth Day is. This year, it’s come and gone. But we’re here to ask: What can we do to show our love of the earth on that day, and every day?  On May 31st, Sony will release After Earth, an action-packed movie that takes place 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity to leave. It’s the kind of scenario that makes you want to donate to Greenpeace, recycle everything, and start biking every where, immediately. Saving Water: Resources for Homeowners and Families in Dedham

From simple everyday changes to purchasing water efficient appliances, here's how homeowners and families can save water and protect our local environment.

  Did you know only 1% of the total water resources on earth are available for human use? It's a fact, according the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP). Water Saving Technology Mike Brent is the Water Resource Manager for the Cascade Water Alliance, a Puget Sound based agency that provides water to almost 400,000 residences and 22,000 businesses. Brent says families can conserve water by changing habits and taking advantage of water saving technology. “Water efficiency can be categorized by behavioral measures and hardware measures.
