Who Gets More Care: You, or Your Car?
To achieve optimal health and maintain vitality as you age, it’s essential to be vigilant and proactive.
As a gynecologist, I care exclusively for women. I often find myself using a metaphor about cars when I speak to my patients. Anytime a warning light pops up on my dashboard, I act quickly. With four children and a growing business, I’m like many of my patients – extremely busy! Because I want my car to run well for many years, I make sure to get it all the preventive work it needs. I’ve found that women, particularly those in their 30s through 60s are often not as well cared for as the rest of their family, or even their cars!
