Enjoy the big game with big flavor.
I know you're upset the Patriots aren't playing in the Super Bowl, but stop claiming you're going to skip the big game. You have to watch, or you aren't an American. Besides, now that your team isn't playing, you can relax and enjoy the party without having to worry about every play. Your blood pressure will rise because of all the snacks, not because of iffy calls by the refs. The best features of the Super Bowl, in order, are watching the commercials, eating party food, hanging out with friends (just don't talk while the commercials are playing), making ridiculous bets and actually watching the game. Unlike other media members, I'm not going to spoil the commercials for you, it's too late in the week for me to find you friends and I am …
A Ravens cheerleader has been making headlines for the reasons she says she was banned from cheering on Super Bowl Sunday.
The story of a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader who said she was disciplined for weight gain—and believes this is a reason she was left behind from the Super Bowl—has been making headlines across the country. Cheerleader Courtney Lenz said she thinks her team didn't take her to the Super Bowl was because she gained 1.6 pounds. Admittedly, her story has changed through the week: Yahoo Sports noted she first said the team was upset because she had chosen to retire at the end of the season. She later told Good Morning America she thought the decision was because of her weigh-in. The alleged snub led to supporters starting an online petition to reinstate her, The Huffington Post reported. The team has said they picked cheerleaders for the Super …

What were your favorite ads from Super Bowl 46? Take our poll or share your pick in the comments section below.
The Patriots’ last-minute drive wasn’t the only thing that fell short last night during Super Bowl 46. This year’s lineup of advertisements was like Gronk’s ankle: questionable. And today, as the Monday morning quarterbacks out there rehash Tom Brady’s imperfections, plenty of casual fans around coffee shops and water coolers will be dissecting the commercials, as well. While the immediate reaction was that this year’s ads collectively didn’t stack up against some storied lineups from the past, a few have been garnering positive reviews across the interwebs. Bud Light, for instance, played to both frat boys and animal lovers in its ad featuring Weego, a rescue dog who brings cold ones when called. And the brown M&M scored points for …

Dedham students got into the spirit. Will you?
We're on the hunt for great pictures of Dedhamites in their Patriots gear, and we want you to share your favorite photos with us. Dedham Middle School students got into the spirit Friday morning before the Super Bowl, and were featured on Fox 25. Six-hundred middle school students poured onto the grounds of DMS wearing red, white and blue. Eighth graders spelled out "Go Pats" while sixth- and seventh-grade students looked on. Add your own photos by clicking the "upload" button under the pictures.

You think Brady has pressure on him this weekend? Ha! He hasn’t been stressing over the Super Bowl menu! And not just any Super Bowl menu, but a menu where the Pats are playing in the Super Bowl. I over-thought this one. Had I just asked everyone what they wanted, I’d have had my answers. I would hear: “Pork BBQ Sandwiches” (which, by the way were amazing but more importantly, we ate them and the Pats won, so of course we have to serve them again. We’re a little superstitious over here!), “Kielbasa” and “End Zone Nachos.” I guess all I really had to do was go back to my good old reliable recipes, grab a few of the standbys that everyone devours. I also wanted to make a fun, sweet dessert that everyone would love, too. Who doesn’t love a …
