Monday, Jan. 28 (10:27 p.m.) According to police reports, a resident reported that his front tire was slashed at the corner of Oak and Curve Street. The owner reported that it wasn't driven for a few days, so it must have occurred between Jan. 24 and Jan. 28. Tuesday, Jan. 29 (3:11 p.m.) Dedham Police received a call that a shoplifter was being detained at a store on Providence Highway. Loss Prevention officers told police that they observed the suspect conceal ear bud headphones. He was placed under arrest. Tuesday, Dec. 25 (8:12 a.m.) According to police reports, there was a verbal altercation between a white female and an employee of a store on Bussey Street The female was under the influence of alcohol. When the employee was on the phone with Dedham Dispatch, the female slapped the phone against the employee's face. The store did not want to press charges, but the female was trespassed from the store. Wednesday, Dec. 26 (9:56 a.m.) According to police reports, a vehicle was broken into. The white, 2010 Lexus was parked on Stergis Way when the rear passenger window was smashed. The owner's purse was the only item taken from the vehicle. Tuesday, Dec. 18 (6:55 p.m.) According to police reports, police responded to Hooper Rd. on a report of a vehicle that was broken into. The owner of the vehicle informed police that the vehicle was left unlocked overnight and several items were missing from the car. (7:52 p.m.) Dedham Police responded to Legacy Place for a report of a shoplifter. According to reports, the shoplifters left the store and were walking towards Legal C bar. However, Legacy Security lost track of the them. The suspects took $30 worth of merchandise, according to police reports. Monday, Dec. 10 (3:10 p.m.) According to police reports, there was a female shoplifter who was being held in custody at a store on Providence Hwy. Upon arrival police were informed that they observed the suspect conceal $71.39 worth of merchandise into a gift bag. She then attempted to leave the store without purchasing the items, but was stopped by Loss Prevention personnel. A check with dispatch revealed to police that she already had two warrants for her arrest. She was then placed under arrest and booked at the police station. Friday, Nov. 2 (5:55 p.m.) According to police reports, a woman stated that her Visa Debit card was used fraudulently. She claimed that she must have dropped it in a store that she was at. When she checked her account, she noticed that it was used to pay for something at a local gas station. Later, the Boston Police found her card while searching a motor vehicle. She was advised to keep an eye on her credit report. (9:22 p.m.) According to police reports, there was a vehicle that was entered. the vehicle was identified as a 2001 Ford Taurus and was parked at the owner's house at Youngs Road.
