One victim sustained minor injuries during the incident, according to a statement from Dedham Police.
Dedham Police are investigating a shooting in the area of River Street and Whiting Avenue Tuesday night. A victim of the incident had been in a motor vehicle traveling on River Street, when another vehicle crossed the double-yellow lines and pulled up next to the victim's vehicle, firing several rounds, according to a statement from Dedham Police Wednesday morning. "The victim sustained only minor injuries and could only describe the suspect’s vehicle as a white sports car possibly a Mitsubishi that continued up River Street towards Oakdale Square," Dedham Police said in a statement, adding that the matter appears to be an isolated incident. King Philip Fundraiser Sticks Principal to the Wall When King Philip High School student Megan Conner discovered a school fundraiser where a teacher was taped to a wall, she knew she had to bring the idea to KP. An individual was shot on Veteran's Road Thursday afternoon, according to police.
According to Dedham Police, there were reports of an invididual with a head injury on Veteran's Road on Thursday at 2:45 p.m. When police arrived at the scene they observed a large quantity of blood, but were unable to find the victim. According to police, they receive Boston Police radio transmissions describing an individual with "non-life threatening" gun shot wounds walking around the Georgetown Complex in Hyde Park. Police later confirmed that was the same individual that was injured on Veteran's Road. When a search warrant was executed on the home on Veteran's Road, police found two firearms. According to police, they are not searching for any suspects at this time.
