Dedham TV would like to thank the community for its tremendous support and welcome all of those interested to visit them during any of their upcoming tapings or events.
On Thursday evening, April 25, the studio of Dedham Television was packed to capacity with Dedham businesses, residents, and friends of DTV. Local vendors were asked to participate in providing food and beverages for the event; evidenced by the heaps of delicious offerings that were on display. “We’re excited that we could offer an Open House to celebrate the new location for Dedham Television” exclaimed Director of Operations Greg Agnew. “The production facility moved from its much smaller location on 95 Eastern Avenue to a larger, state of the art facility at 502 Sprague Street. Dedham TV is hosting an OPEN HOUSE, Thurday, April 25 from 6:30 to 8:30PM at their new studio location-502 Sprague Street. All Dedham residents are invited to stop by. The 11,000 square foot building houses one of New England’s largest operating studios. Learn about its unique history in the Boston and national entertainment industry. Dedham Middle School is one of only nine middle schools in the Commonwealth to be accredited. The faculty showed prospective students the reasons behind that, during their Open House.
It was a cold Monday evening, when over 200 parents and children came through the doors of the Dedham Middle School. This was an evening to be proud though. You see, there are 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts, with 329 Middle Schools in the State. After an assessment last school year by the folks at NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges), the Dedham Middle School was 1 of only 9 Middle Schools in the State to be “accredited.” The accreditation is a measuring stick, to assess a school's focus on teaching and learning, the quality of programs and activities offered, and identifying their strengths and needs.
