Edward J. Stevens Dies at 84; WWII Army Veteran

A funeral service for Edward J. Stevens will be held Wednesday.

Edward J. Stevens of Walpole, formerly of Harwich and Dedham, died on May 5, 2013, at the age of 84. He was beloved husband of Catherine A. (Foley) Stevens, devoted father of Mary T. Moran and her husband James of Walpole, James P. Stevens and his wife Paula of Plainville and the late Edward G. Stevens, brother of the late Helen Roskowski, cherished grandfather of Sean M. Moran and his wife Laura of Burlington, James E. Moran of Walpole, Matthew S. Moran and his wife Elizabeth of Franklin, Daniel J. Stevens and Kevin M. Stevens both of Plainville, great grandfather of Olivia C. Moran, son of the late Michael J. and Anna (Kabot) Skryzpinski. Edward was a graduate of Boston English High School. Obit: Margeory M. (Driscoll) DiCesare, Dies at 86

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, April 17, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton St. in Dedham.

  Margeory M. (Driscoll) DiCesare, a resident of North Easton for many years and formerly of Dedham, died Sunday, April 14, 2013.  She was 86 years old.   She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ethel M. (Lewis) Driscoll.  Margeory was born in Boston, grew up in Dedham and attended Dedham High School.  She worked in Quality Control at Raytheon, for 17 years, in Norwood and Waltham; prior to that she was an assembler for Allis Chalmers in Hyde Park for 10 years. Margeory was a member of the IBEW Electrical Union.  She was a member of the Blue Hill Community Church in Hyde Park for many years.  Margeory was the loving wife of the late Leo J. DiCesare. Richard C. Lawton was a Dedham resident.

  Richard C. Lawton of Dedham and Foxboro, passed away on Mar. 23. He was the beloved husband of Laura D. (Michalski) Lawton. Brother of the late T. Edward Lawton. Roberta F. Bowse-Foster, Dedham Native, Dies at 55

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at Our Lady of the Cape Church, 468 Stony Brook Road in West Brewster. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery in West Harwich.

Roberta F. Bowse-Foster passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly on Feb. 7 at Cape Cod Hospital surrounded by her children and two of her siblings. She was born on April 19, 1957, in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of Rita (Barthel) Bowse and the late Robert Bowse. She was raised in Dedham, MA and was a graduate of Dedham High School. She later attended Mass Bay Community College. Roberta was extraordinarily dedicated to her children, and as a single parent, worked unselfishly to care for them. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach, reading a good book, creative art projects, and playing all types of games with her children.
