Boston Police arrested two suspects at the Home Depot parking lot on possession of numerous prescription pills, and stolen property possibly linked to recent Dedham burglaries. On March 1 around 4:31 p.m., Timothy James Brennan, of 21 Walnut Road, West Roxbury, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property of more than $250 and possession of class C drugs; and Michelle M. Mallon, of 69 Ralph Mann Drive, Stoughton, was arrested and charged with possession of class B drugs and receiving stolen property of more than $250. Members of the E-5 Drug Control Unit were conducting surveillance at the Home Depot parking lot, a known area for drug transactions. A Dedham woman wanted for making threats to commit a crime and annoying phone calls, allegedly curled into a ball and tried to kicked Boston Police away during a street arrest in Roslindale Village. On Feb. 2, around 5 p.m., Karen O'Neil, of 16 Maverick St., Dedham, was arrested on a default warrant out of West Roxbury District Court for threats to commit a crime and for annoying telephone calls. While on patrol, an officer recognized the suspect enter a vehicle in the area of Archdale and Washington streets in Roslindale, and began to follow the vehicle in a cruiser. Brookline Police initially stopped stolen vehicle on VFW Parkway in West Roxbury, and Boston Police arrested suspect. The following information is from the Boston PD, and an arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.
Brookline Police stopped a Dedham man, who was seemingly living out of U-Haul that he had not returned. Boston District E-5 Police arrested Richard Pavidis, of 7 Ware St., Dedham, on Jan. 28 around 7:51 a.m. at 944 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, and charged him with using a motor vehicle without authority. A U-Haul employee on scene, who called 911 after seeing the stolen vehicle told police the vehicle was two months overdue, and Pavidis had not returned the previously-leased vehicle. The suspect allegedly told police he intended to return the vehicle. But officers observed the suspect was "clearly using the vehicle as his residence."
