Sassafrass is a 2-year-old cutie pie who is looking for her new home. She was originally found as a stray and transferred to the Animal Rescue League by an Animal Control Facility. We believe her to be a pit bull mix, but your guess is as good as ours! Sassy (as we affectionately call her) is a joy to be around. She is quite affectionate! No known aggression or guarding issues that we have seen here. She is a favorite for the volunteers to take overnight and they have reported that she is very well behaved in the home setting after she becomes familiar. She has a moderate energy level, and is highly trainable. Sassy knows all her commands! Sit, down, stay, paw. Works well for treats. She loves playing with other dogs, and seems to get …

Diamond is a large American Staffordshire terrier. She is incredibly sweet and knows basic obedience commands. Because Diamond is a large dog who can sometimes become jumpy when she is excited, we recommend that she goes to a home with no children or only children over the age of 13. Diamond is selective about which dogs she gets along with, so we also recommend that she goes to a home with no other dogs. Diamond is spayed and she has been vaccinated and given a clean bill of health by a veterinarian. Her adoption fee is $205.00. If you are interested in Diamond or have any questions, you can visit her at our Dedham shelter or give them a call at (781) 326-0729.

If you think that your family is the right fit for Mr. Jingles please come visit him at The Animal Rescue League of Boston, 55 Anna’s Pl, in Dedham.
Mr. Jingles is a 3-year-old Pomeranian and weighs about 13lbs. He looks bigger, but the rest of him is all fluff! He was at the Boston Animal Control shelter as a stray and then brought to the Animal Rescue Leauge of Boston to find a new home. He was found as a stray along with a cat in a carrier so there is a chance that he lived with cats before. Mr. Jingles requires a patient owner and a family with no children. He really enjoys his toys & relaxing on his bed, but since he likes them so much he will protect his possessions from you. He needs a person that understands a dog should be left alone when eating & sleeping. Mr. Jingles has been out in our dog playgroup so we know that he does well with dogs of similar size and dogs that don'…

Cammy is available for adoption through the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Dedham shelter.
Cammy is an approximately 2-year-old female Pug mix. She is a very cute and sweet little girl who will be a wonderful addition to the right home. Cammy can be shy at first with new people, but once she gets to know you she is very friendly. She does not know any basic commands, so her new owners should consider taking her to training classes so she can learn good manners! She loves toys and is very playful. Cammy plays well with other dogs but we do not know how she would be with cats. Cammy has what we call "food aggression" and is very possessive of food, rawhides, and treats. If Cammy has something that is valuable to her and she thinks that someone is going to take it away from her, she will bite. Cammy's food aggression is …

Ethel is up for adoption through the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Dedham shelter.
Ethel is an 8-year-old female cat. She was brought to the Animal Rescue League's Dedham shelter because her owner became sick and could no longer take care of her properly. She is a beautiful girl with a medium length thick fur! She is overweight and will need to be on a diet in her new home. Ethel is fearful at first in a new environment, but with time and patience, she comes out of her shell and lets you see her true, sweet personality. She lived in a quiet house and would do best in a new home with older children; she should be the only pet in her new home. She is a very sweet girl who will be affectionate once she gets to know you! If you are looking for a sweet and quiet companion, then Ethel is your girl. She is spayed, …

Little Bear is available for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Dedham shelter.
Hi, my name is Little Bear! I'm an energetic playful little guy looking for a new home with someone who can help me work on some issues. Currently, I'm living at the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Dedham shelter. I've got a fun personality and I love to fetch. I am a pro-fetcher and will drop the ball right at you feet. I am a busy boy at home and am not planning to be a couch potato - I like to be on the go! The more exercise I have, the less I'm going to be inclined to find things to entertain myself. As a Pomeranian mix, I have a thick coat that will require regular brushing to keep it in tip top shape as well as professional grooming every 4-6 weeks. I am a talkative boy, and I'll let you know if someone is coming to the house, or …

The 2-year-old pit bull mix is up for adoption in Dedham.
Molly is an approximately 2-year-old female pit bull mix dog up for adoption at the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Dedham shelter. She came to the shelter from an animal control facility and was originally found as a stray. She is a very sweet girl who loves everyone she meets! She knows some basic commands like sit, stay, and come, and is eager to learn more. She seems to be housetrained in the shelter, but will probably need a refresher once she gets to her new home. Molly loves to play with any kind of toy, especially tennis balls and plush squeaky toys! She likes other dogs and plays well with them, but should not go home with cats because she would probably chase them. She would do well with children of all ages. Molly does …
