The philosophy here seems to be: you can't play well if you don't look good. Accordingly, there's more clothing than equipment on display. True, you will find balls (soccer, basket, tennis), bats, and mitts in some measure. But most of the square footage here is devoted to feet, with lots and lots of sneakers. Many racks of tops and bottoms for a variety of sports line the floor. You will also find some of the necessary accouterments, such as sun glasses and sports watches.
