<p>The Noble and Greenough School, more commonly referred to as Nobles, is an independent private school founded in 1855 with about 600 co-eds in grades seven through twelve.</p>
<p>The school generally accepts 50 students into the seventh grade each year and accepts fewer new students in grades eight through eleven. No new students are accepted for the twelfth grade.</p> <p>Nobles supports 25 athletic teams that compete in the Independent School League, with origns dating back to 1948.</p> <p>Students come primarily from surrounding towns in Massachusetts, but also from New Hampshire and Connecticut. A small contingent of students choose to live on campus in residence halls that are open five days per week.</p> <p>Additionally, Nobles hosts a popular summer day camp for kids.</p>
