Mariposa is by far the most well run, dedicated and loving nursery school in Dedham, if not MA. The interaction with the children, arts and crafts and other various activities makes for a very well rounded program. The love they share with my son is as if they were caring for their own. I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend Mariposa.

Mariposa Child Care center mission statement is to nurture their children in a bilingual environment language where Spanish and English is develop. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood in Dedham. Also, their extended opening hours 7:00am to 6:00pm, make possible for working parents to feel more relaxed knowing that their child is in a safety place. Learning activities, indoor and outdoor fun activities are always provided.
We can't say enough good things about Mariposa. The space is well organized, immaculate, and inspiring to its young learners. The school is dedicated to it being a positive and supportive learning experience for the children and their parents. Mariposa is one in a million.
They are so helpful and loving and responsive to my daughter. I can't rave about this preschool more highly. I wish they were around when my son was younger. My daughter started with them when she was 18mo. She's now 2yrs. She regularly uses some Spanish words and counts in English and Spanish, the way 2yr olds count. This is wonderful! It really is working. I can't even say that me and my husband have much to do with it, since neither of us are Spanish speakers. My daughter absolutely runs to the door on school days, eager to see "cha-cha", short for mucha-cha - Tio Jose. Thank you, Mariposa!
Mariposa is a wonderful place and my daughter has absolutely thrived being there. The difference in my daughter in honestly remarkable. She is the happiest, most engaged little girl. Mariposa is a place that is focused on a loving and respectful environment for children, with a solid routine and lots of educational and fun activity and play time. The children spend time outside, they do arts and crafts every day (and with the Museum of Fine Arts!), they have music and dance class, fire drills to practice safety, and numerous other season activities throughout the year. As a full-time business hours working mom, some of the things I love most about Mariposa is the fact that their hours of operation are amazing. They allow me to work my full day and not feel like I need to kill myself rushing to get home. They also don't have crazy vacation schedules you need to adhere to, like most private day cares. The reason I didn't opt for a KinderCare type place was because it was too impersonal. I wanted my baby to go to a loving place that felt more 'homey'. Because Mariposa wasn't open then, I choose a home daycare. It was exactly the loving place I was looking for, but inflexible. Now that I look back, what I really needed was a place like Mariposa. A flexible place (like KinderCare) run by a loving family (benefit of a private day care). I feel very lucky to have found such a place for my daughter and our family.

Mariposa Child Care, is a very dedicated team that works with love. A bilingual program full of fun, attention and activities, teaching the kids to develop and giving them the opportunity to enjoy and develop their capacities.
