Trick or Treat, All You Can Eat, Robots in Dedham This Weekend

Taste of Dedham

Fresh cuisines, a celebrity cook-off, swag bags and a raffle will all be part of this year’s Taste of Dedham on Thursday, Oct. 24. The annual event will run from 6:30pm-9pm at Moseley’s on the Charles, located at 50 Bridge Street in Dedham. Purchase Tickets »

High School Activities

The Dedham girls soccer team will play at home against Walpole at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Dedham High School will participate in a Marching Band Competition in Wakefield on Saturday at 6 p.m.

It's not Thanksgiving yet, but the Dedham High Football team will battle rival Norwood on Friday at 7 p.m. at home.

Thursday is an early release day for Dedham schools. Eat at Panera on Thursday, Oct. 24, in Dedham and the restaurant donates 20-30 percent of sales on bakery items to the Dedham High School swim team.  You need this flyer for them to do so. Print it out and bring it in. 


Trick or Treat 

Legacy Place will hold their annual Halloween events this weekend with trick-or-treating, pumpkin decorating, a costume contest, and crafts. Guests who donate a non-perishable food item or make a financial contribution to The Greater Boston Food Bank can participate in the Halloween festivities on Saturday, Oct. 26 from noon to 2 p.m. Children are invited to wear their costumes and parade around to the different shops and trick-or-treat.


A robotics program is coming to the Dedham Public Library this weekend to teach children ages 20-14 about robots. Michael Marks, Chief Robot Wrangler at TSC Robotics, will present “Living with Robots in the 21st Century: a Program for Teens and Tweens” at the Endicott Branch Library on Saturday, October 26 at 11:00 a.m.

All You Can Eat

Bamboo in Dedham offers an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet on Saturday - Sunday 11:30am - 2:30pm.  They also offer a Sunday Dinner buffet - 5:00 pm to 8:00pm


Karaoke can be found at Kings at Legacy Place at 9 p.m.
