Free Music, Trunk Show Among Things to do in Dedham This Weekend

Gift Wrapping Fundraiser

Get the shopping and wrapping all done in Dedham Square this weekend. Members of the Dedham Middle School Band and their parents are hosting a gift wrapping fundraiser at The Blue Bunny on Saturday, Dec. 21, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. They will wrap anything purchased in Dedham Square for a donation.

Trunk Show

Finish that holiday shopping by picking up some unique holiday gifts, and maybe even something for yourself! This trunk show features original pieces by jewelry artist Karen Meninno. Visit the trunk show on Saturday, December 21, 12-4  p.m., Dedham Square Artist Guild, 553 High St.

Attend a FREE Concert

Take a much needed break from the holiday rush and enjoy the eclectic music mix of Laughing Boy. His performance is a blend of original songs, with folk, alternative pop, blues, country, gospel and more. This event is FREE and open to all ages, at the Paradise Cafe, Saturday, December 21, 8:30 p.m.

Events at Legacy Place

Stop by Legacy Place this weekend and enjoy the many festive events throughout their grounds. On Saturday, Dec. 21, at 10 a.m., Showcase Cinema de Lux is continuing its Holiday Classics Movie Series at 10 a.m. with White Christmas and FREE admission with a donation of a non-perishable food item. Also on Saturday, 2-4 p.m., Santa will be strolling the sidewalks for impromptu photos and Santa's elf will be giving out balloon art on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2-4 p.m., in front of Au Bon Pain.

Toys for Tots

Donations are still being accepted to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. While in the Dedham Toys R Us location this weekend, pick up an extra toy and place it in their drop-off box. Your gesture will bring a happy face on Christmas morning.
