Jewelry Trunk Show

Start the weekend off picking up some unique holiday gifts, and maybe even something for yourself! This trunk show features  jewelry by artist Lillian Graham. Visit the trunk show on Friday, Dec. 13, 3-6 p.m., Dedham Square Artist Guild, 553 High St.

Holiday Classic Movie

Watch the classic holiday movie, "It's A Wonderful Life" on the big screen, Saturday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m., Showcase Cinema de Lux, Legacy Place. Admission is FREE with a donation of a non-perishable food item to benefit a local food pantry.

Support Boston Globe Santa

Show the kids the true meaning of Christmas and giving by contributing to Boston Globe Santa, Saturday, Dec. 14, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Legacy Place. All money raised by this worthy organization goes to families in need this holiday season. Can't make the event? You can still donate, visit their website.

Saturday Night Kids Club

Are you looking for a fun and inexpensive alternative to hiring a babysitter for your kids? Drop the little ones off at the Dedham Community House gym, 671 High St., on Saturday, Dec. 14, 6-10 p.m. Their evening will include lots of activities, including sports and games, arts and crafts, a pizza dinner and a movie! Your night? Whatever you want! The event will be supervised by a high quality staff and is open to kids ages K - 5th Grade. Cost is $15 per child. Click here to register.

Live Music

Take a break from the Christmas rush and enjoy live music at the Paradise Cafe, 565 High St., Saturday, Dec. 14, 8:30-10:30 p.m. This week's entertainment is Jeff Byrd and Dirty Finch, an alt-country/roots-rock band based out of Rhode Island. No cover charge!

Breakfast with Santa

What is more fun than sitting on Santa's knee? Why having breakfast with him of course! On Sunday, Dec. 15, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Dedham Community House, 671 High St., the Dedham Junior Woman's Club is sponsoring Breakfast with Santa, a fun-filled morning for the entire family! Parents may bring their own cameras to take a family photo with Santa. In addition to a delicious breakfast with Santa, kids will also make a seasonal craft to bring home.
