Halloween Parades, Parties, and Festivities in Dedham This Week

A look at the week ahead in Dedham.

1.  Children ages 16 and under are welcomed to bring in a painted or carved pumpkin to Kings this week leading up to Halloween.  Customers can vote on the best pumpkin and the winner receives a bowling party with cheese pizza for up for up to 10 kids. Winners will be announced Nov. 1.

2. On Tuesday, Dedham’s Showcase Cinemas will hold bargain movie night and admission will only cost $7.50.

3. Avery, Oakdale and Riverdale Elementary School students  are showing off their costumes on Thursday, Oct. 31, at the Halloween Parade at 1:45 p.m. Riverdale will also hold a pumpkin contest.
4. Children aged 5+ may sign up for a special school-age Halloween party at
the Main Library on Wednesday, October 30 at 6:30pm. Anyone interested in

5. The Davis Companies and the Town of Dedham will be adding another building tour of the Rustcraft Building. The new tours will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 100 & 150 Rustcraft Road from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. for all interested persons. The tour gives the public a view of the newly proposed sites of the Town Hall, Police Department and Senior Center.
