Dedham Library Innovation Team

Come join us Monday, June 13th, 2o11 at the Endicott Estate at 7:00pm for a "rubber meets the road" DLIT meeting!

DLIT is about creating a "best-in-class" library system for all of Dedham, for both the Dedham Public Library and the public school libraries. It is now incorporated and is in the process of becoming a 501(c)(3). We've built up our treasury chest, and now it's time to get to work!

Join us on Monday night and find out how you can help; there are lots of opportunities to pitch in, and no contribution is too small. Whether you're interested in participating in fun social events, showing support for libraries by simply attending a Finance Committee meeting, bringing new programming to the library, or doing writing and promotional work from your own home, there's something for everyone! Residents of all ages are welcome. It's a worthy cause, a fun group, and we eat a lot of great desserts ;-)

We just finished Dedham's first "One Book, One Town" program with the reenactment of the court scene at Norfolk Superior Court. What book would you like to see the town do next year?

If you can't make the meeting on Monday, but would like to get involved, please email DLIT.team@gmail.com and let us know what activities you might be interested in doing.
