Dedham Food Pantry Searching for Volunteers

An update on what is happening at the food pantry.

 

Here are some updates from the :

  • The Dedham Food Pantry, armed with a new volunteer coordinator, is searching for new volunteers between the ages of 12 and 18 who can work on Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings. ContactFernanda Copeland by email at fernanda_copeland@yahoo.com.
  • The pantry also is looking for volunteer grant writers to help with fundraising efforts. Contact Lindsay Barich if you are interested.
  • As the spring rolls into summer, the food pantry is in need of more food. Food items needed include: cooking oil, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, canned cream corn, spaghetti/pasta sauce, tomato paste, flour, sugar (5-pound bag), cake mix, brownie mix, canned mixed vegetables, crackers, Jello, pudding, beef stew, tea, boxed potatoes, pasta, solid white tuna, SpaghettiOs, shampoo, toothbrushes.
    Items can be dropped off on Thursdays between 3-4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays between 8:30-11 a.m.
  • Members of the Dedham Food Pantry will meet on Wednesday, March 21 at 7 p.m. at the .
