Field Hockey Falls to Norwood, Faces Walpole Tuesday

Facing rival Norwood, the field hockey team lost 3-1 on Monday to fall to 9-6-1 on the season.

Sam Girard scored the Marauders lone goal, and sophomore Colleen Downing notched an assist on the play.

Goalie Jamie Carty played very well in net, coach Erin MacDonald said, as she made 15 saves on 20 shots.

The Marauders will host Walpole Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. at DHS, and will host Milton at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday at DHS.

MacDonald also announced the team raised about $2,000 for breast cancer research. earlier this month for a fund-raiser.
