Dedham High School Basketball Teams Head into Playoffs

The teams hit the courts on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

Both Dedham High varsity basketball teams have qualified for the MIAA Division 3 South tournament.

The boys' team, which went 11-11, has the 10th seed on the boys' side. The playoffs begin against Case on the road at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25. 

Old Rochester Regional, Cardinal Spellman and Martha's Vineyard, all of which went 16-4, hold the top three slots in the tournament, respectively. 

The girls’ team, which went 4-16, has the 14th seed. They will play Norwell at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at Norwell.

Bourne, which went 18-2, is the number one seed in the girls’ tournament

Wow what league do they play in a kids league where everyone makes the play offs that terrible. Sports are now like our pathetic government let everyone be the same no matter what. When I was in high school you had those records you def didn't make play offs on you shouldn't it should only be for best team's. Even high school play offs are becoming a joke now too. Our society doesnt stand a chance under out socialist regime. God bless
