Date Set For Dedham Square Holiday Stroll
Santa will return to Dedham Square this December.
The Dedham Selectmen approved the date for the annual holiday stroll in Dedham Square.
This year’s holiday celebration will be held on Dec. 6 and expects to include the same traditions as last year.
The highlight of the event is expected to be the tree lighting in the municipal lot. Dedham residents will be invited to join Santa for the ceremonial lighting of the Town’s Christmas Tree at 6 p.m while carolers from First Church of Dedham will lead the crowd in some festive holiday songs.

High Street is expected to be shut down from Washington St. to Harris St. for the many holiday festivities.
