Graduation is Saturday, June 9.

 

Three Dedham High School Outstanding Alumni were recognized Tuesday night at DHS Class Night 2012: Judge Daniel Luce Class of 1966, Marilyn Weber Class of 1969, Paul McMurtry class of 1984.

Anthony Hage class president led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance, and gave remarks to his fellow classmates and families in attendance.

Class Advisors Keith Comeau and Catlyn O’Reagen spoke to the class about how they have watched these seniors grow from timid freshman to graduating seniors. A class of who has done so much from raising money for hurricane victims to helping with the Dedham Food Pantry, the Walk for Hunger and various other activities. Comeau and O'Reagen said they enjoyed watching each one grow into fine young men and woman.

Superintendent June Doe addressed the class, as did Principal Ron McCarthy. Asst. Principal John Murray and Jim Forrest helped hand out awards and praised the graduates on all of the successes.

Following the ceremony, the seniors and their families were invited to a lovely buffet catered by the Food Services of the Dedham Public Schools.

Dedham High Graduation is Saturday, June 9 at 1 p.m. at the stadium. If it is inside due to inclement weather it will be held at a later time in the auditorium
