Latke Frying at Whole Foods Market

The Chabad Jewish Center and Whole Foods Market welcome families in the area to an Latke Frying Event at the Whole Foods Market at Legacy in Place Dedham on Tuesday, December 20th at 6 pm.

The custom of eating foods fried in oil such as Potatoe Latkes or pancakes commemorates the miracle of the small flask of oil which was enough to last one day but lasted eight. It is a hands-on educational and fun experience for the entire family.

“We are looking forward to this wonderful educational program” said Rabbi Mendel Krinsky director of the Chabad Jewish Center. “Programs such as these have always been very popular with parents because children learn about the holiday in an interactive way, and the children love it because as they learn they really have a lot of fun.”
