Dedham Students Named to Worcester Polytechnic Institute Dean's List

A total of 1,303 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI's fall 2013 Dean's List.

Two students from Dedham have been named to the Dean's List at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), according to an announcement this week.

Daniel Dwan, a senior majoring in management engineering, and Jeffrey Letourneau, a freshman majoring in chemical engineering, were named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2013 semester.

A total of 1,303 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI's fall 2013 Dean's List, according to the announcement. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities, as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA) but rather defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects, according to the announcement.
