Dedham Educator Retires After Nearly 40 Years Teaching

The Noble and Greenough teacher addressed the school community this week.

A Dedham educator is moving on after serving as a teacher for 37 years, with 25 of them spent teaching at Noble and Greenough School, which also celebrated its 2014 Graduation on Friday.

Sarah Snyder, a faculty member in the school's English department, is retiring from the school, and addressed her peers and the student community on Wednesday, May 28, school officials announced

In her address, Snyder said she plans to take her new free time to "create new, surprising things as I write, paint, cut in stone or quilt," and to volunteer more.
