12 Things You Need to Know About Dedham High Graduation

From who's talking to who's graduating, get all the facts on Wednesday's DHS graduation ceremony.

Wednesday is graduation day for seniors at . We've compiled a list of all of the vital information you need for the ceremony.

  • Ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. at the .
  • Graduates need to be there at 4:30 p.m.
  • 176 graduates will receive diplomas.
  • Parking is available on the grounds of the Estate.
  • University of Connecticut men's basketball coach Jim Calhoun will be the keynote speaker. The three-time NCAA national champion coached at DHS for two seasons in the early 1970s.
  •  also will speak to the class of 2011.
  • Class of 2011 president Brian Coakley will serve as the master of ceremonies.
  • Valedictorian Susannah White will address her peers, as will salutatorian Kelly St. Cyr.

  • Each student received two tickets for the ceremony. Anyone without a ticket wishing to attend may bring a blanket or chair and sit on the periphery.
