When is Dedham's 2014 Annual Town Election?

Find out who in Dedham has pulled nomination papers for this year's election.

Dedham's annual town election will take place on Saturday, April 12 this year. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Nomination papers are now available and may be picked up at the Dedham Town Clerk's office only by a candidate or a person who has the written authorization from the candidate, according to a notice on Dedham's town website. This applies to town representatives, as well as major office candidates.

The last day to pick up nomination papers will be Thursday, Feb. 20.

Candidates have until 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 24 to submit notation papers to registrars for certification.

The last day to withdraw nomination papers will be 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12. Drawing for positions on the ballot will take place at 6 p.m. on that date. 

Dedham Town Meeting, meanwhile, will take place on Monday, May 19 at 7 p.m. at Dedham High School.
