Special State Election is Today, One Polling Location Changes

Today is the Massachusetts special election for the U.S. Senate. Because of Dedham Middle School's graduation, the polling location for precinct four and six has changed.

Voters will help choose either Democratic candidate Edward Markey or Republican candidate Gabriel Gomez to be the next U.S Senator in today's Massachusetts special state election.

Town Clerk Paul Munchbach predicts that there will be a low turnout, but believes that Congressman Markey will help draw residents to the polls.

"I predict about a 18 to 20 percent turnout with Congressman Markey," Munchbach said.

Dedham Middle School will have their graduation today.  For that reason precincts four and six will be voting in the gymnasium of the Mother Brook Arts and Community Center (Formerly know as the Old Avery School) located at 123 High St.
