The Town of Dedham will hold an informational public meeting Thursday night for a chance for anyone to ask questions about the Rustcraft Road Project.

Town officials including the Dedham Board of Selectmen will be on hand as they discuss plans of moving two the Dedham Town Hall, police station and senior center to Rustcraft Road.

For the move to be completed, the Town would first have to acquire property on the road.

In addition to the presentation on the Rustcraft Road building, there will also be a presentation on the study conducted on the potential re-use opportunities of the existing Town Hall and Police Station Facilities, according to Selectmen’s agenda.

Residents will be given the chance to review the proposed building program and voice their opinions and ask questions.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Dedham Middle School  on 170 Whiting Avenue.

Why not add a rec center to the proposal. Norwood has one. The Dolan center is a terrific facility, but with a rec center you could do a lot more.
