Register of Deeds Bill O'Donnell Visits Interfaith Social Services Career Closet

By Greg Shanahan

Norfolk County Register of Deeds Bill O’Donnell stopped by the Interfaith Social Services Career Closet last week to meet new manager Rhiannon Kimball while dropping off donated items from the Norfolk County Register of Deeds Suits for Success Program.

The Suits for Success program aims to assist men and women who are re-entering the work force and in partnership with the Interfaith Social Services Career Closet assists women by providing outfits suitable for employment interviews and subsequent professional employment.

Donations of business suits and other appropriate clothing and accessories are always in need. All items should be ready for a person to wear, in style, clean, and on hangers.

“We all want to make a good first impression and wearing appropriate clothes can also make you feel good about yourself,” said O’Donnell. “We have seen great generosity from the business community and the residents of Norfolk County and I hope that anyone cleaning out their closets, or just looking to help someone in need will consider contributing to this worthy endeavor.”

All contributions are tax deductible and to learn more Interfaith Social Services please go to their websites at www.interfaithsocialservices.org. Donations can be brought directly to the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds located at 649 High St. in Dedham, Monday through Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm.
