Register of Deeds Bill O’Donnell Meets with Pakistani Dignitaries

By Greg Shanahan

Norfolk County Registry of Deeds Bill O’Donnell met last month with Pakistani dignitaries Mujeeb-ur-Rehman and Muhammad Farooq who were touring the United States. Rehman and Farooq are part of the U.S. – Pakistani Professional Partnership Program for Public Administrators.

The Program allows participants from Pakistan the chance to study U.S. public administration and aims to establish structured interaction and develop professional ties between government professionals in both countries.

During their time studying local government in Norwood they stopped by the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds to have a look at some of the ways that county government functions in the U.S.

“I really enjoyed meeting Mr. Rehman and Mr. Farooq during their visit to the Registry,” said O’Donnell. “It was a great opportunity to meet with government professionals from another country and to learn about their perspectives on public administration.”
